Another warm afternoon is expected for green country.
We should be mostly sunny with highs today around 84. Winds from southeast around 5 to 7. A warm up continues as we head into Monday. Morning lows in the upper 50s. A stronger breeze tomorrow but still mostly sunny with highs near 86.
On Tuesday we'll start to feel the moisture increasing and it will become slightly more humid out. Across western Oklahoma a dry line will start to set up and we should see showers and storms firing along the dry line.
There is a chance those storms could become severe. We'll watch them closely as they try to move east into our area. It will depend on the strength of the storm and surrounding environment as to whether they will maintain their severity when moving into green country.
We'll catch somewhat of a break on Wednesday but isolated showers and storms will still be possible. The dry line will be farther east and closer to us Wednesday afternoon. Storms should fire again along the dry line and since they're closer to green country, there is a better chance they will affect us Wednesday evening and Wednesday night. Storms will be isolated instead of more widespread.
Thursday the second stronger waves moves in with better chances for more widespread rain and storms through the day on Thursday and into Friday. This second wave will push a cold front through and once it moves out, we'll see cooler and dry conditions heading into next week. Timing on this cold front has changed quite a bit since yesterday and could change again.
