Tulsa Law Enforcement Rallies Planned In Support Of Betty Shelby

A pro-law enforcement rally is planned for downtown Tuesday at the courthouse in support of Tulsa Police Officer Betty Shelby.

A group is expected to gather downtown outside the Tulsa County Courthouse at 1 p.m. and another rally is planned for south Tulsa at Hunter Park at 2 p.m.

Both rallies are direct responses to the Sharpton rally scheduled for Tuesday and both rallies are in support of Officer Betty Shelby.

The gatherings in support of TPD and Officer Shelby won't include marches, but one group will rally outside the courthouse, where Officer Shelby will make a first court appearance on a first-degree manslaughter charge Friday morning.
