Tulsa Police are conducting an active search  after someone shot up a house full of people near 51st Street North and Peoria. Officers say it's lucky only one person was hurt.

The woman who was wounded is in the hospital. Police said she was hit in her backside because she may have been trying to run for cover. She's expected to be OK.

Around 2 a.m. Friday, police say a red truck pulled up to a house near 51st Street North and Peoria, and shot several rifle and handgun rounds. Police say people were both inside and outside the home - and again one woman was hit - and vehicles parked out front were shot up, too.

Police don't have a motive right now - they say people living there weren't being cooperative at first.

Evidence markers lined the street from the 30-plus shell casings found.

Police said there is some video surveillance footage, and they are reviewing it now.

If you have any information that can help in their investigation, call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
