The Tulsa Humane Society is waiving adoption fees this weekend after it took in hundreds of animals from hoarding situations this summer.
Of 40 greyhounds rescued from Comanche County, about 25 have been adopted, but other animals still need a home - like Labs, Chihuahuas and puppies.

Evan Fadem, Humane Society of Tulsa executive director, said, "We've shown them what it is to be loved and be cared for, but now they need to go and be adopted and go home and start living a normal, happy, healthy life."
Adoption fees will be waived Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the shelter's Bixby location.
