Coaches always give credit and praise to the opposing team and their staff before most games. But in Oklahoma State's case, Pittsburgh running back James Conner deserves a ton of praise for fighting the battles he's faced.
The Panther running back was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma in December, but in May he declared that he was officially cancer-free after six months of chemotherapy.
The former All-American is going to be a lot to stop for the Cowboys but Mike Gundy is still a fan of Conner.
"You have to admire a young man who's playing at this level both physically and mentally with what he went through,” said Gundy. “Great story, great player, it's amazing to think that he's gone through that. Happy for him, want to do well against him this week, but happy for what he's accomplished."
