Tulsa Police ticketed a woman for hitting a 16-year-old student with her car in front of Memorial High School Tuesday morning.

Officers say EMSA were called to Memorial High School in the 5800 block of South Hudson just after 8 a.m.

They said the teen was crossing a street when an eastbound car struck him.  Police say the student claimed only his shin was hurting and went on to school.

The car's driver got a ticket for leaving the scene of an injury crash.
