A Bixby standoff ended early Thursday with a 19-year-old woman arrested and another 25-year-old woman on the run.

Officers got a call about a argument inside a home at about 9:20 p.m. Wednesday.  When they arrived in the 8700 block of 133rd Place South, they found a man with a stab wound to his stomach.

EMSA took him to a Tulsa hospital in fair condition.

Assistant Police Chief Andy Choate said officers also encountered a woman who was holding a knife. They said the ran back into the home and refused to come outside. Police said they also learned there were two children in the home, ages five and six.

That woman was later identified as 25-year-old Collette Alexia Riggins.

"Set up their command post and attempted to make contact via telephone, via loudspeaker," said Andy Choate.

Choate said after a six-hour standoff involving the department's special operations team, they took Robin Evans, a family friend into custody.  The couple's two children were placed with relatives.

Choate said the children told police, their mother, Riggins, was the one who stabbed their father and that she had run out the back door.

"Our first concern is always for the children and any other innocent party that may be in the home," said Andy Choate.

Choate says police are still trying to locate Riggins.

He says if you know where Riggins is, call Bixby Police at 918-366-8294 or Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.

Evans was arrested for obstructing officers.
