The Oklahoma football team is still trying to move on from its season-opening loss to Houston.
It wasn't pretty Saturday, but as the great poet Robert Frost said, “There are three words I can sum up everything I've learned about life: It goes on.”
And life for the Sooners will go on when they face Louisiana Monroe Saturday.
Mark Andrews, a player that could afford to have more targets, speaks to OU’s loss to Texas last year helping put Houston in the past.
"We came together last year during the Texas loss, and we said that wasn't going to be the end of us,” Andrews recalled. “I think that's something that made our group a lot closer last year was that loss and we learned from it, and you could kind of feel that after the game. And we decided as a group that this is not going to change us; it's not going to affect our goals. So we still have those goals and we're still set to it."
