Sunday activities could be impacted by showers and storms. Storms that develop today will be scattered across Green Country. Chances are around 20 percent.

Temperatures should warm up to near 87 by the noon hour. Partly cloudy skies today and light winds. Afternoon highs will be topping out near 94. We could still have a few lingering showers overnight tonight into our Monday morning.

Highs will be in the low to mid 90s again on Monday, and winds will remain light. There is a very slight chance tomorrow afternoon for showers and storms, but most folks will remain dry. Most of the storms should be across western Oklahoma and southern Kansas.

A boundary comes into the area on Tuesday which will enhance rain chances especially along the Oklahoma-Kansas state line. Northeast winds and a better chance for rain will keep highs in the low 90s.

Rain and storms chances peak this week on Wednesday and Thursday. Dreary days, especially on Thursday. Highs should be near 90.

Then as we get ready to head into the weekend, rain chances will start to lessen and heat will build back in. Highs should be in the mid-90s for our Labor Day weekend, and we could have an isolated afternoon storm each day. Winds will be stronger - so be careful out on area lakes.
