Tulsa Renames Street In Front Of 'The Outsiders' Home

The Tulsa home of the fictional Curtis brothers from S.E. Hinton's book "The Outsiders," now has a new street sign.

City leaders, some former cast members of the 1985 movie and Danny O'Conner- the man trying to restore the home and make a museum were there to christen Curtis Brother Lane Friday afternoon.

There is The Outsider House Renovation Fundraiser Saturday evening at the IDL Ballroom in downtown Tulsa. 

The home is located in what was previously called the 700 block of North St. Louis Street..
