Prosecutors have charged a former Big Cabin police chief and his wife with making meth in their home with their two children present.

The charges against Brian Mossier, 41, and Jamie Mossier, 37, of Chelsea followed a search of the couple's home on July 29.  Inside the home, authorities recovered a quantity of methamphetamine as well as items used to manufacture the drug.

According to an affidavit filed with the court, Brian Mossier admitted to Rogers County deputies he was manufacturing meth in their home to support the couple's addiction to the drug.

He also stated he had been using a Big Cabin issued fuel credit card since his termination from the police department in 2014.

The couple is facing charges including manufacture of a controlled and dangerous substance, child neglect, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
