Kellyville and Sapulpa firefighters are responding to a house fire in the 13000 block of South 213th West Avenue in Creek County. A witness said he saw flames shooting over the trees near the Turner Turnpike around 6:45 a.m.

The large home appears to be a total loss.

Sapulpa Fire Captain Darren Inbody said the house doesn't appear to be completely vacant, but they don't believe anyone was home at the time of the fire.

They had some issues shuttling water to the rural home. Crews had to use a small hydrant nearby and a larger hydrant more than a mile away.

Creek County Sheriff's Office is assisting, and the state fire marshal has been called out to investigate the cause of the fire.
