Former Owasso standout Dylan Bundy turned in his best game as a big leaguer Tuesday night as the Baltimore Orioles beat the Texas Rangers, 5-1.
The Tulsa native gave up just one single in seven shutout innings.
It was his fourth big league start and his longest after starting the season in the bullpen.
He got the first ten batters out before giving up a walk and took a no-hitter into the sixth inning for the second straight game.
"It was fun. It's fun to catch when he's able to have all three of his pitches. He located his fastballs really good," said catcher Matt Wieters. "It gives me a lot of options to call, and for a young guy, he knows what he's doing. It's nice to work with a guy who has a game plan going in, and he's going to execute it."
