The Tulsa Public Schools Superintendent Deborah Gist is once again using music to reach out to employees. It's getting close to back-to-school time for teachers, and the superintendent just released a version of "carpool karaoke" to address some district plans for the new year.

The video starts as Coach Robert Kaiser, Tulsa Public Schools Teacher of the Year, gets in the passenger seat and Gist takes the wheel. Of course, the car radio plays a prominent role in the drive.

Kaiser objects to the Nae Nae song, calling it so "last year," a reference to Gist's first musical video that kicked off her tenure in Tulsa.

In between some Justin Timberlake and Sia, administrators manage to discuss topics like summer workshops, professional development, curriculum and classroom management. Dr. Ebony Johnson joins along for the ride and some music.
