A vacant north Tulsa home was destroyed by fire early Saturday.

The Tulsa Fire Department got the call at about 4:30 a.m. to the 4500 block of North Johnstown Avenue.  They arrived to find the home on fire and spreading to an occupied house next door.

Firefighters quickly knocked down the fire next door and turned their attention to the vacant house fire.

They said no one was injured and the Red Cross was called to help those living in the occupied dwelling.

Cause of the fire remains under investigation.
