TPD Arrests Woman Connected To SUV Theft With Baby Inside

Tulsa police arrested a woman connected to a vehicle theft. Police say a baby was inside the vehicle at the time.

TPD says April Williams is believed to have stolen an SUV from a QuikTrip store with a baby in the back seat.

Police found the SUV a short time later, along with the 7-month-old safely inside.

Williams was wanted for several things, including child neglect.

She was arrested Wednesday.

Jail records show she’s being held on child neglect and larceny of auto. She’s being held on a $27,000 bond.
