Police said a man is in the hospital after a random person shot him in the neck several times with a BB gun in downtown Tulsa. The victim is a 48-year-old man who police say is likely homeless.
Unfortunately, the victim wasn't able to give police a good description of the suspects.
Early Tuesday morning, the victim told officers he was walking with someone near Archer and Denver when a young man he didn't know shot him in the neck at least twice with a BB gun. EMSA was called and the victim went to the hospital. The person walking with the victim wasn't hurt.
A little more than a month ago, we told you about a group of young men who shot three homeless people in a week with a pellet gun at the downtown bus stop. One person in that case went to the hospital.
It's too early to say if these cases are connected.
A supervisor tells me all they can do at this point is keep their eyes open for this morning's shooter, who was possibly walking with a group of young people.
