Man Drowns At Blue Hole Park In Mayes County

A Grand River Dam Authority spokesperson confirms there was a drowning in Mayes County Sunday afternoon. The victim was taken to the hospital in Pryor where he later died, according to Justin Alberty, GRDA.

The victim has been identified as 25-year-old Moises Lopez.

Lopez drowned at Blue Hole Park around 1:30 p.m., a popular swimming hole east of Salina on Saline Creek. Several people at the park performed CPR on Lopez on the banks of the swimming area.
