Jenks Bakers Back To Work After Car Crashes Through Store

Bakers are back to work at Cookiedoodle in Jenks after a car came crashing into their store last week.

The crash injured one employee and two customers who were waiting in line. They all spent time in the hospital but are expected to recover.

Construction is underway to repair the store, but that’s not stopping employees from baking in the space that isn't damaged.

"The first day was pretty scary, of course. A lot of us were almost crying coming back because it was hard, but we are making it through," said employee Rebecca Rosenal.

Customers can still place orders, but it may be some time before the store is fully back open.
