The Humane Society of Tulsa said dogs from the recent Bixby rescue are now available. Adoptions are underway for the medium and large breed dogs that were rescued from a hoarding situation earlier this week.
These animals are available at the Humane Society's emergency location at 13290 South 80th East Avenue in Bixby. Adoption fees are $100 plus $20 for microchipping.
You can fill out an application online before getting to the shelter. There are photos of all the animals in the lobby of the emergency facility.
The same organization rescued over 50 Chihuahuas last week, and they say they need supplies and cash badly to meet the needs of these and other animals. Some of those dogs are still available at the Humane Society of Tulsa's permanent home, 6232 East 60th Street..
