Tail Light Traffic Stop Leads To Glenpool Car Burglary Arrest

A Glenpool Police traffic stop for a non-working tail light leads to a Tulsa teen's arrest for auto burglary Monday night.

Just after 11 p.m., officers were called about a stolen car.  While en route, police said they spotted the stolen car abandoned in the 13600 block of South Maple. After returning the car to its owner, police were approached by several residents who said their vehicles had been broken into recently and items were stolen. 

While police were talking to those victims, officers noticed a car driving by very slowly. Officers stopped that car after noticing a tail light was out. While talking to the people inside the car, officers noticed an item reported stolen in one of the burglaries lying on back floorboard.

Glenpool police arrested Jordan D Juan Kimble in connection to the burglaries.

Police canvassed the neighborhood and found several additional auto burglary victims.Some of the items reportedly stolen from those burglaries were also recovered in Kimble's vehicle.

Glenpool Police booked Kimble, 19, into the Tulsa County jail on multiple auto burglary and possession of stolen property complaints. Jail records show Kimble has a court appearance set for June 28.
