The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a DUI driver involved in a truck crash on a rural Cherokee County road late Friday was treated and released from the hospital.

Troopers said the crash happened on Gideon Road west of Highway 82 and north of Tahlequah at 11:37 p.m.

In their report, the OHP says a 1999 GMC pickup driven by James Dollarhide, Jr., 36, of Rose, was eastbound on Gideon Road when the truck went off the road, hit a tree and a fence.

Two passengers, a 16-year-old male also from Rose and 22-year-old Quinton Dearduff, 22, of Hulbert were also taken to the hospital for injuries they sustained in the crash.

The OHP says Dearduff was then transported to a Tulsa hospital and admitted in guarded condition with head and leg injuries.
