There's a construction project in Broken Arrow near St. John Hospital that will close a stretch of road for several weeks.
Crews are building an assisted living facility near Albany and the Broken Arrow Expressway. While construction won't directly affect St. John Hospital traffic, folks living at the Greens at Battle Creek Apartments will have to take a detour.
The city is closing a dogleg of Albany Drive, south of St. John Broken Arrow, where it connects to Albany Street. It will be closed for about four weeks - starting Monday, June 6.
To get in to the complex, the city says you'll have to use Stone Ridge Drive.
A city spokeswoman says it should reopen on the fourth of July, if the weather cooperates. But, again, hospital traffic will be able to get in and out without a detour.
