Tulsa Man Shot By Homeowner During Assault Dies

Tulsa police say a man who was shot after reportedly attacking a homeowner earlier this week has now died.

According to TPD, 23-year-old Lance Claunch died on Wednesday.

On Monday night, police said Claunch was intoxicated and approached a senior citizen who was doing yard work, then began beating him. That man was carrying a gun, fired a warning shot, then fired another shot into Claunch’s neck, TPD said.

Claunch underwent emergency surgery but detectives say he has since died.
