Police: Driver Blames Puppy For Downtown Tulsa Crash

A woman crashed into two parked cars in downtown Tulsa late Friday after she told police she was distracted by puppies in the SUV. 

Police said the driver was headed south on Denver Avenue when one of the puppies got loose and jumped up to the driver's seat.  They said while she tried to grab the puppy, she lost control of the Chevy Tahoe hitting two parked cars.  

Neither the woman or the puppies were hurt in the crash, but police gave the woman a ticket for inattentive driving.
