Woman Hopes To Open Cat Cafe In Tulsa

Susan Cram has three cats: JJ, Thumbs and Harley.

Harley is the designated show off. She's got a new business idea.

“[I’ve been] thinking about how to work with animals and have a business related to animals for years,” said Cram. “I started hearing about cat cafes about a year ago."

Cat cafes have been popular in other countries for a decade or more and there are some in other cities in the U.S.

Cram’s cat cafe would have two rooms, one a small coffee shop and the other for the free-range cats.

She's got a Kickstarter campaign going to raise a little seed money. She’s also got a name picked out and has her eye on some property.

The goal is to have a positive impact on Tulsa's hundreds of homeless cats like she did with Harley.
