Mannford Teacher Arrested In Prostitution Sting

A Mannford school teacher bonded out of jail overnight after police arrested him in a prostitution sting.

According to Tulsa Police, around 7:00 Monday evening, undercover officers were contacted on an escort website by a man who wanted to pay for sex. 

They say the man agreed to pay for a half hour of time.

Officers said they met Jake Cox in a southeast Tulsa hotel and arrested him. They later discovered Cox is a middle school teacher in Mannford.

Police said he also admitted to hiring prostitutes in the past.
