The Oklahoma Highway Patrol believes alcohol was a factor in a car crash on a rural Creek County road near Sapulpa Saturday morning.

Troopers said two women in the car are expected to be OK after the Chevy Cobalt they were in went off the road and rolled over in some trees beside the road at about 5 a.m.

The OHP says the car was headed north on 161st West Avenue west of Lake Sahoma when the driver apparently lost control and went off the road.  They said driver crawled out of the car, but her passenger was trapped inside.

The Sapulpa Fire Department had to cut her out of the car.  She was taken to a Tulsa hospital with what troopers said was minor injuries.

Troopers arrested the driver for suspicion of DUI.

The OHP said there was the smell of alcohol at the crash scene and they found beer cans inside the car.
