Police arrested a woman they say led them on a pursuit from that city to Tulsa overnight. They don't know why the woman refused to stop but say she kept going on foot after her tires were flattened by stop sticks.

Sandra Gail Evans was booked into the Tulsa jail on complaints of eluding, running a road block and changing lanes unsafely.

An Owasso officer tried to pull her over near 76th Street North and Highway 169 after seeing her vehicle leave the parking lot of LifeChurch TV around 4:15 a.m. He thought it was suspicious for a car to be there at that time, an arrest report states.

Instead of pulling over, police say Evans drove on the Highway 169 southbound and kept going to Tulsa. Speeds never reached over 55, police say.

Owasso police asked Tulsa Police and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol to assist with the pursuit as Evans came into Tulsa.

She went westbound on Pine and drove over stop sticks that flattened both driver's side tires near Darlington. She continued northbound onto Yale then finally stopped at some railroad tracks.
