Two teens and a 20-year-old man are in jail after what was believed to be an alcohol-fueled chase with state troopers. Oklahoma Highway Patrol tried to make a traffic stop on the Creek Turnpike when the driver took off.
The teen exited at Memorial and headed north, at one point crossing into oncoming traffic at high speeds. Troopers say 19-year-old Able Guzman reached speeds of about 95 to 100 mph in the pursuit.
The chase ended just north of 81st Street around 1:30 a.m.
The driver was arrested for driving under the influence while two passengers were arrested for public intoxication. An arrest report states Guzman, 19, was jailed on complaints of DUI, attempting to elude, driving without a valid license and carrying a weapon illegally.
Passenger Eric Rosales-Avila, 20, was booked on complaints of public intoxication and transporting an open container of beer.
We don't have information on the third teen that was taken to jail.
A fourth teen was given a ride home. No one was hurt.
