Broken Arrow Police arrested a man they say robbed the Game Stop near Kenosha and 145th East Avenue on Thursday. Witnesses tell police two men wearing ski masks threatened them with guns then ran away with some cash.
When one witness tried to stop them, he says they shot at him and his 9-year-old brother.
Police say they eventually found Mikel Ball hiding in someone's garage, crouched between a refrigerator and a lawn mower. They say he was wearing the same clothes as the robber on the Game Stop security footage.
Ball told police, "Studio time just costs too much money," as he was taken into custody, the arrest report states. When police took cash from the suspect, he reportedly told them: "That's my money. I didn't get that from the robbery, I got that from selling dope."
Police say the 19-year-old Tulsa man also confessed to robbing the Qdoba in the same area two weeks ago. He's in jail for armed robbery, two counts of shooting with intent to kill and other complaints. Ball is being held on a $300,000 bond.
The other suspect is still on the loose.
