Tulsa police are investigating a Saturday afternoon homicide, and by evening they were able to name a suspect.

The fatal shooting, which took place at East 54th Street North and North Frankfort Place before 3:30 p.m., began as a verbal argument, police say.

Police are searching for Eric Bradford, 39.

"The victim parked his SUV in the driveway... and the suspect followed," a news release says. "The suspect shot the victim in the head and fled."

The victim -- 37-year-old Daniel Watashe -- was found dead next to the SUV, and a gun was found next to his body, TPD says.

"It is too early in the investigation to determine motive or if the gun recovered is the murder weapon or if it belongs to the victim," TPD says.

The investigation is ongoing.

Bradford is described as a 5-foot-9 black man who weighs 150 pounds. He left in a gray or silver four-door car, according to witnesses.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Bradford, please call CrimeStoppers at 918-596-COPS.
