Tulsa police hope you will eat out on Thursday night to help honor officers who've been killed in the line of duty.

Dozens of people released blue balloons outside the Wendy's at 81st and Memorial today to honor all 39 Tulsa police officers who died on the job.

“They have a tag on each balloon that tells you who the police officer is and where he died,” retired officer Karen Ford said.

That Wendy's is also donating 10 percent of its sales today to help raise money to build the memorial.

This is the fourth year Wendy's has hosted a fundraiser day for the Officers Memorial.
