Tuesday night at Southern Hills new Oklahoma State coach Brad Underwood spent time getting to know some Cowboy supporters, and among those in the crowd were a handful of former OSU players who played for Mr. Iba.
Underwood's message of tying the past back to the present was well received.
"He's very sincere and speaks from the heart and believes in what he's saying,” said Jerry Clack. “In his systems and his procedures that he used at Stephen F. Austin to be successful, I think they'll transfer to OSU."
Underwood was appreciative of all the support.
"This is what part of building a program is about,” he stated. “ It's about reaching out and touching our great alums. It's about touching our people. This turnout tonight was incredible, so much orange and that's what it's all about."
Great time tonight at Southern Hills in Tulsa. Met so many GREAT Cowboy supporters! Made me feel welcome and proud to be your coach!— Brad Underwood (@OSUCoachBrad) April 27, 2016
