West Tulsa Church Damaged By Storm

A west Tulsa church suffered extensive damage in Tuesday night's storm.

The Winnetka Heights Baptist Church near on 49th West Avenue and Olympia sustained extensive damage to its roof and interior.  

Officials say this is the second time the church has been damaged by a storm.  In the 1970's, the church building was damaged by a tornado.

The church has canceled Wednesday evening services.
