Company Withdraws Plan To Build Cell Tower In South Tulsa

A company has withdrawn its plan to build a large cell phone tower in south Tulsa.

LCC Telecom withdrew its application to build the tower just east of 91st and Yale.

Some neighbors opposed the construction and the Tulsa Board of Adjustment was set to vote on it on Tuesday.

The 175-foot cell phone tower would have been close to some homes in the area.
