Boy Alert After Nearly Drowning At Downtown Tulsa Park

Police and firefighters were called to a Tulsa city park after a near drowning incident Friday morning. 

Authorities said a boy slipped into a pond at Owen Park on West Edison near downtown Tulsa just before 10:30 a.m. but was quickly pulled out of the water.  

EMSA arrived and took the child to a Tulsa hospital.  Police said he was alert and talking when he was loaded into the ambulance.
