Police arrested a teenager in east Tulsa early Saturday after the teen allegedly fired shots during a car burglary attempt.
Officers said it happened in the 100 block of South 91st East Avenue just after 5:30 a.m. They said the 16-year-old fired the shots when confronted by the car's owner.
Police used a K-9 officer to track down the teen. Police also recovered a pistol and other items they believe were stolen in what appears to be other car burglaries.
The car's owner was not injured.
