The Tulsa Fire Department returned to the scene of an apartment fire early Thursday after fire and smoke was seen coming from the building near Haskell and Lewis.
Firefighters were called to the apartment in the 100 block of North Zunis at about 1 a.m. for a fire in an upstairs apartment. Just after 6:30 a.m. they were called back after flames broke through the roof.
They say the apartment sustained extensive damage, and an unoccupied apartment downtown apartment suffered water damage in the earlier fire.
Firefighters say no one was injured.
The landlord told News On 6 he's glad his tenant made it out safely, and he'll have to figure out what to do with the building now.
