GRDA Outage Leaves Over 3,500 Without Power

GRDA says it has restored power after an outage Saturday morning that impacted thousands of Verdigris Valley Electric Cooperative customers.

The outage was first reported just after 9:30 a.m.  

A number of communities including Skiatook, Sperry and Prue were without power.  GRDA, which supplies electricity to VVEC, said power was restored to the cooperative two hours later. 

Cause of the outage was undetermined.
