The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a Tulsa man died after a single-vehicle crash in Pawnee County late Friday.

Troopers said the crash of a 1999 Ford Explorer happened on old Highway 64 north and west of Westport at 11:35 p.m.

The OHP says the driver, Justin Morton, 27, was headed east when his SUV went off the road.  The SUV came back on the road then went into a slide and left the highway a second time and rolled over, coming to rest on its top, according to the OHP.

The trooper said Morton was thrown from the SUV.  He was taken to a Tulsa hospital where he was pronounced dead early Saturday.

The OHP report said Justin Morton was driving at an unsafe speed and there was an odor of alcohol inside the SUV.
