Fire Damages Owasso Home

No one was hurt when fire damaged an Owasso home early Friday.

The fire department was called to the home in the 200 block of East 11th Street at about 1:15 a.m. 

Firefighters said the fire apparently started on the backside of the home and spread to the attic.

They said no one was living in the home and electricity was shut off, but the homeowner had stored items throughout the the structure.

Firefighters said the fire was suspicious. They estimate the damage at $70,000.
