Resident Arrested After Fire Damages Tulsa Home

The Tulsa Fire Department says police arrested a woman at the scene of a house fire Tuesday that injured two firefighters.

Police arrested Crystal Mitchel, 28, for interfering with an officer. In their arrest report, officers said Mitchel, who lived in the home, "willfully and maliciously lied" to fire marshals.

The fire department said the two firefighters who were hurt were checked out at Tulsa hospital, then sent home.Five animals in the home died in the fire.

Investigators have yet to determine what caused the fire.
