The Broken Arrow City Council has suspended a local store's liquor license on Tuesday after employees were caught selling alcohol to a minor.
During its meeting, the council voted to suspend Rooster's license for 30 days starting Wednesday.
Roosters, in the 1500 block of South Main was one of three convenience stores which Broken Arrow Police visited during a compliance check last September.
A clerk at the store was arrested after she sold beer to an underage volunteer. During her arrest, the clerk admitted she was suppose to be in court that day for another citation for selling alcohol to a minor.
