A second suspect is in custody in a Bartlesville homicide. Derek Hamblin was wanted on first-degree murder in the death of Kyler Holeman.
"Derek Hamblin is now in custody," Washington County Sheriff's Office said on its Facebook page. "The office would like to thank everyone who helped spread the word and in helping us locate and safely apprehend Derek Hamblin."
In a news release, WCSO said Hamblin turned himself into authorities at the Tulsa County Jail Monday evening and then transported to Bartlesville.
"He has been charged with first-degree murder and conspiracy," the release states.
Deputies arrested another man, 21-year-old Scott Offutt, into the Washington County Jail after Holeman's body was found near the intersection of East Adams Boulevard and County Road North 4000 Road on March 31, 2016.
Through their investigation, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office said they learned Holeman’s death was violent and the attack on him was sudden and unexpected
