Mayor: Williams Companies Layoffs Big Deal For Tulsa

Tulsa's mayor says layoffs at Williams Companies is a big deal for the city.  

Dewey Bartlett speaking on 6 In The Morning on Wednesday says city leaders will need to stand shoulder to shoulder like Tulsa did when American Airlines announced its bankruptcy several years ago.

Bartlett says these layoffs cannot be minimized.  While they were expected, the mayor says Tulsa needs to voice its concerns to the company's leaders and stockholders about the future of Williams Companies.
