Tulsa Police responded to a stabbing outside the Fiesta Mart near 21st and Garnett.
The call came in shortly after 6:30 a.m. Tuesday. Police say a woman was stabbed in the parking lot. She then came into the gas station and asked someone to call 911.
Police have Leon Reding in custody in the stabbing. Officers say Reding is in a domestic relationship with the woman.
She was stabbed in the side and was taken to a hospital in serious condition, according to police on scene. Officers tell News On 6 the woman should recover.
Witnesses told police the pair are believed to be homeless and are often seen in the area. Reding appeared to be intoxicated Tuesday morning, officers said.
Reding, 59, was booked on a complaint of assault and battery with a deadly weapon.
Tulsa Police responded to the same gas station overnight Sunday when two people were shot. A crowd had gathered in the parking lot after a concert at a nearby club.
Neither shooting wound was life threatening. The suspects are still at large in that crime.
