City Of Tulsa Rebuilding Riverside North Of 41st Street

A road project is underway right now you may not have noticed, because it's on the section of Riverside Drive that's closed off to through traffic. The city of Tulsa is working on Riverside from 41st Street up to 35th Street.

There's heavy equipment there, and they're completely tearing up the road, putting in new drainage and rebuilding Riverside. It goes to 35th Street where the road is blocked because of the Gathering Place construction.

It's part of the 2008 Fix the Streets project. Once they're done with southbound lanes, they'll switch over to northbound Riverside Drive. The city says it should be done by October.
