Tulsa Airport To Improve Restaurants, Stores

Tulsa International Airport wants to spice up its restaurants and stores.

The Tulsa Airport Improvement Trust wants new restaurants and stores to officer some of the local flavors of the city, foods or products that are uniquely Tulsa.

"Since the last RFP we've renovated the concourses, so everything has been updated and we really want the food and beverage and retail program to reflect the new and modern look of the terminal," said Alexis Higgins, TIA.

Bidding for one of the new spots ends in June. The airport hopes to have some of the new stores open by January.
