Muskogee County Sheriff Asks OSBI To Investigate Former Jailer

The Muskogee County Sheriff has asked the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation to investigate a former employee.

Sheriff Charles Pearson says he fired a jail supervisor after an internal investigation.

He says he can't give specifics because it's a personnel matter and an ongoing investigation.

He says the OSBI is investigating whether any crimes were committed.

We are not naming the supervisor at this time because he's not been arrested or charged.
